We are looking for a Private Equity Analyst to be based out of our Chile office. The analyst will work in Evalueserve Chile’s financial services team supporting a top tier US based global Private Equity Firm. The firm focuses on generating value for their investors out of existing businesses or new investment opportunities. The position requires working on client requests across multiple industries, as well as collecting, analyzing, and presenting data from internal sources and the web. The ideal candidate should be able to provide smart solutions to common Excel data issues and reporting. The candidate should have excellent problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills. He/she should also have good communication skills and would be required to interact with clients over phone and through email.

• Preparation of information memoranda, company profiles (one-pagers and deep dive), Industry overviews, management presentations, case studies
• Create, refresh, and maintain complex excel models, some of them with VBA automations
• Support due diligence processes creating discussion materials, presentations and datapacks
• Collaborate and coordinate with the team to meet tight deadlines on projects
• Internalize business’ processes, suggest innovations, and proactively take action
• Handling ad hoc research requests such as competitor benchmarking, target screening, data collection from web, quick data visualizations, etc., as per client requirements

What you bring to the role
• University Degree. Finance specializations are preferred but not mandatory
• No professional experience required
• Good written and verbal communication in English
• Good MS office skills. Advanced Excel/VBA is preferred
• Strong Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision
